Hong Kong Tailors 

Traveling Hong Kong tailors derive their heritage from their frequent trips to major metropolitan cities around the world. On these trips a tailor will typically meet clients in an upscale business hotel, or at the the client's office, where he will initiate a conversation to define specific needs, take detailed measurements, discuss style choices and present various fabric swatches.

The client will place an order directly with the tailor, who in turn will send the order to Hong Kong to be crafted by his team of trained tailors. The finished custom made garments will then be sent directly to the client in about 4-5 weeks.

Since these tailors often travel in a “circuit” by the time the customer has received his order the tailor will typically be back in town and can address any issues the customer may have. Traveling Hong Kong tailors often carry over 1,000 different fabric swatches and may visit as many as 50 cities in a given year.
